Following the birth of your baby you will be seen by a midwife often in a clinic environment until the baby is about 10 days old. You should then be contacted by an NHS Health Visitor who should arrange to visit you at home or in clinic between about 14-21 days after delivery.

At Health Visitor 4 U we believe that regular contact with a health professional during the first 6 weeks after delivery can have a direct impact on the positive outcomes of building a relationship with your baby and becoming a family.

We can offer home visits from as early as the day you come home or if you have had a home birth from the day after the birth.

These contacts will offer support around feeding, winding, daily routines and transition into parenthood. An emotional health assessment will also be included.

Post natal contacts can be arranged on an individual basis or as part of a package.

For babies up to seven months of age
